VDM Slams Davido Over Adeleke Joining Tinubu’s City Boy Movement

VeryDarkMan and Davido matter don scatter internet as vdm davido clash trends online.

The City Boy Movement is a political support group loyal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, campaigning for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. Adeleke’s appointment has sparked confusion because he is a PDP governor working for an APC campaign.

What VDM Said About Davido

In a new video that has gone viral, VDM accused Davido of hypocrisy. He reminded Nigerians that during the 2022 Osun governorship election, Davido cried and begged Nigerians to vote for his uncle Adeleke to remove APC from Osun. Now, the same Adeleke is joining APC’s campaign structure.

“During election na PDP, now for power na APC. You use our emotions for 2022,” VDM said in the video. The activist said celebrities should not deceive fans with family politics.

Reactions As Davido Likes VDM Video

The video, which was first shared on VDM’s Instagram page, has gathered thousands of reactions. Interestingly, Davido reportedly liked the video, sparking more reactions on social media.

Many Nigerians on X reacted quickly. Some users praised VDM for speaking truth to power. However, Davido’s fans, popularly known as 30BG, defended the singer. They said Davido is not his uncle and has the right to remain neutral.

Why Adeleke Joined City Boy Movement

Political analysts say Governor Adeleke’s move may not be surprising. With several PDP governors reportedly romancing APC ahead of 2027, Adeleke might be protecting his second-term ambition in Osun. More details about Davido’s family political background shows deep ties.

As of press time, neither Davido nor Governor Adeleke has officially responded to VDM’s video.
