Grand Theft Auto VI is officially coming on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the hype around the world right now is unreal.
Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA 6 will return to Vice City, but this time the map is almost twice the size of GTA V. The new map, called Leonida, is inspired by Florida and includes Vice City, swamps, beaches, small towns, and the Florida Keys.
Here is what we know so far:
GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026. There is no PC version on day one. Rockstar is expected to release the PC version in 2027.
Leaks and trailers show the map is nearly twice the size of GTA V. Players will be able to explore Vice City, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Mount Kalaga, and the Leonida Keys.
The game follows Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, a criminal duo in Vice City. It is the first GTA game with a female lead character.
Rockstar has not confirmed the official price yet, but most stores are listing it at $69.99 / £69.99 for the standard edition. A Deluxe Edition is expected to cost more.
No. GTA 6 will only work on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will not work on PS4 or Xbox One.
Reports this week say 10% of gamers plan to skip work or school on launch day. Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack label is also rumoured to be releasing a GTA 6 sneaker collaboration.
If you are a GTA fan, mark 19 November on your calendar. This is set to be the biggest game launch in history.
